| Part of the reason that so many people are attracted to cartoons and comic books is that the art form can take on many different genres. There are superheroes, science fiction, fantasy, manga, memoirs, and regular old gags and humor. An idea can be as long as a chapter book, or as short as a single panel. Students will create their own characters and take a look at how what they are creating fits in with the larger world of cartoons and comic books. They will be able to work on more than one story-line over the course of the session. |
